The End

"O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?" Misunderstandings caused by the tremendous conflict between two families, the Capulets and the Montagues, resulted in such a tragedy. Romeo and Juliet died in the end of the play. And then all of the conflicts were solved by the death of Romeo and Juliet. But what if the ending is changed? What if Romeo and Juliet lived happily ever after?

So I was thinking, If I had a chance to rewrite the ending of the tragedy, I'll make it less tragic and more reinvigorating. So I'll change the part where Romeo saw Juliet lying in the bed (temporarily dead). Paris comes in and starts an argue with Romeo. Before Romeo and Paris fought, Juliet woke up.

She stopped the fight between the two and dared that she will kill herself if they fought. Now Paris proposed to Juliet, asking for her hand. Since Juliet was already married, she denied the proposal and explained to Paris everything about their marriage.

Paris now understand that Romeo and Juliet's marriage was to make their families befriend with each other. So Paris stopped asking for Juliet's hand and she told them that he will organize a party between the couple. The next day, Romeo told his father that he married Juliet and Juliet did the same to his father. The fathers agreed to they said and realized their unknown conflict. The party started and all the guests were there, including the Montagues, the Capulets and the Prince of Verona.

They talked about their conflict and solved it by their own. So to emphasize Romeo and Juliet's love with each other, Montague pledged to make a statue, made of gold, for Juliet and Capulet also pledged to make a statue, made of gold also, to Romeo as a couple.
