What about comedy?

Adding comedic scenes to tragedies is difficult. Just like William Shakespeare's purpose of not adding comedy to the play "Romeo and Juliet" since it is a very sad tragedy. It will result into such an unexpected ending. So this is my version of "Romeo and Juliet" with a comic relief ending.

It starts where Romeo saw Juliet lying on the bed (temporarily dead). Paris entered the seen and attempted to start an argument with Romeo. Before Paris could make an argument, Juliet woke up and Friar Lawrence entered. Juliet explained to Paris that she was already married to Romeo.

Paris understood the explanation and promised that he won't disturb their love with each other. Paris left the scene. The next day, Romeo explained everything to his father about his marriage with Juliet and Juliet did the same thing to her father. The Capulets and the Montagues signed a treaty to end their rivalry.

A party was prepared for the couple by the Prince of Verona who learned everything from Friar Lawrence. Romeo and Juliet were surprised but they were happy. And they lived happily ever after. The End.
