Last August 29, 2012, I had a National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE). It is all about your knowledge in subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, Filipino, Abstract Reasoning, Business, etc. So is it helpful or not? Probably, yes since we can foresee our occupations in the future. But still, it depends on the student if he/she will follow what the results say or not.
I had a good time answering the NCAE since it is not that hard. It is so practical. It depends on the things that you want to do in the future and the course that you will take in college. So, one must answer this really honestly to obtain the best results. If you are answering this lazily or if you cheated, you might not get the results that you want. I learned many things after answering the NCAE.
