The Comedy of Errors is a play written by William Shakespeare. It is about mistaken identities and comedy. It tells about the story of two sets of identical twins that were separated at birth.
The play starts with Egeon (a merchant of Syracuse) and the Duke Solinus(duke of Ephesus). Egeon is condemned by the duke for forbidding their rules about the Syracusans. Syracusans aren't allowed to enter Ephesus. Egeon has two sons which are twins. They are Antipholus of Syracuse and Antipholus of Ephesus. Egeon's sons were both separated due to a shipwreck. In the end of the play, they successfully meet each other even though there are many "errors" before the meeting.
For me, it was humorous even though it does not make you laugh. I recommend anyone to read this play. It is really good but not for those who are lazy to read it.
