Perseverance,
determination, and fate made Aeneas become successful through his life. He
nearly became a casualty when the Trojan War begun, but here is his mother
telling what he needs to do. Because of his strong determination, he had
overcome many obstacles. One of them is his loss to the Greeks in the Trojan
War. He lost most of his comrades and friends in the war. But he still
continued to search for a new hometown, based on what the gods have been
telling him.
Another thing
that made Aeneas victorious through defeat is his perseverance. Perseverance is
shown by Aeneas by not giving up even though it was hard for him to do some
things, like when he is about to consider Turnus but he still killed him
because he wants to avenge Pallas’s death.
And last but
not the least is Aeneas’s fate. He is fated to be the founder of Rome through
defeat and terrible loss, as proclaimed by the gods. So, Aeneas had no control
of this fate and it was all true, thanks to the gods.
